The Impwerks exhaust header is an update of the Janspeed unit. The changes are subtle, the increase in flow is 15% over the original unit. They have been quite some time in the making, this is due to our insistence on the build quality and we are now quite happy with the finished product. The cost of buying and shipping from England forced us to produce our own.

Impwerks Spec Cylinder Head
Two versions available,a modified Sport Head, 1.4" inlet valves with standard sport exhaust valves. These heads have been developed over a long period of time with many hours and dollars being spent on the flow bench. Initially we were using the standard sport inlet valve. Together with porting and polishing, these heads give a tremendous power advantage over the standard sport head.
We have now settled on using the 1.4" inlet valve. It has allowed greater porting and increased flow. We call it our "Spec" head. There are a lot of our heads out there, everyone is happy!

Impwerks MK11 Cylinder Head
Our interim cylinder head. This head appeals to those that require sport engine performance without the cost of a sport head. Using sport inlet and exhaust valves, with porting and polishing, the head produces 10% more flow than a standard sport head. They are fitted with a cylinder head oil drain just like the sport head. We had to produce this head. Sport castings are now very hard to find. When you find them they are usually in unusable condition. The MK11 head is still very plentiful.

Both of the above heads can be used with any cam, carburetor, manifold combinations.

Please note that the heads are priced with 2 different valve spring sets. When ordering, please specify what camshaft you will be using. Any camshaft over the Sport .310" lift requires Race valve spring sets to alleviate coil bind at high revs. These heads are supplied with springs at the correct installed height for the camshaft.

Weber Inlet manifolds $325.00ea Brand new DCD Weber inlet manifolds. Buy a manifold on its own, or buy a whole kit with reconditioned 28/36 Weber carb jetted to suit with throttle linkage and fuel line complete with air cleaner for $756.00. We also produce our own 'Impwerks' Sport exhaust @ $456.30. Just bolt on the horsepower!!!

New steel hubs and modified splines. Stop those rear hubs coming loose all the time! They fit both Hillman Imps and the Lotus Europa/Elan that used the Imp rear suspension. $1295.00NZD for the four pieces. A MUST for competition use.
